My All Time Top Games List

I’m not that important, which is why this is a blog post instead of a page. I’d just like to somewhere, and somehow have my top list of games recorded because whenever I am asked the question what my top game is, I forget many options. There is always something to add to this list.

How this list works is that whenever I think about this topic I’ll check the list and insert whatever it is I am thinking about. I try and think of how much fun I had with each game at the time and this determines how it is ranked among others.

  1. Zelda Breath of the Wild, Nintendo Switch IMHO combined all the good things about the Zelda franchise and built even more onto the top.
  2. The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, 360
  3. Animal Crossing – played every version that ever came out.
  4. Grand Theft Auto IV.
  5. Fallout New Vegas.
  6. Fallout 3.
  7. Zelda, Windwaker, GameCube.
  8. Civilization VI, PC
  9. Turbo Esprit, ZX Spectrum.
  10. Laser Squad, Commodore Amiga.
  11. Elite – I played it on the ZX Spectrum and it is so good, I put a lot of time in the very similar Amstrad CPC version later on, too. The BBC version was best, but I didn’t own a BBC. I lie, the BBC version was the best 8-bit version – the version that ultimately came to be on the Archimedes just blew everything away.

  23. Laser Squad, Amstrad CPC. For 8-bit versions, I like the C64 version nowadays though.
